1.What does Agria Corporation (or Agria) do?
 Agria (NYSE: GRO) is a global agricultural company with three principal business segments: Seed & Grain; Crop Protection, Nutrients & Merchandise; and Rural Services. The Seed and Grain segment is engaged in research and development, production and sale of a broad range of seed products and trading of seed and grain products globally. The Crop Protection, Nutrients and Merchandise segment operates an extensive chain of retail stores that supply farm input materials. The Rural Services segment provides livestock trading, wool trading, irrigation and pumping, real estate agency and other agriservices.

2.When was the company founded?
 Agria was founded in 2004, when we acquired an agriculture business operations based in China that began its operations in 2000. We acquired a 19.01% stake in PGG Wrightson in 2009, and we raised our ownership to a controlling majority control of 50.22% in 2011, which transformed Agria into an international agriculture company with operations in China, South America, New Zealand and Australia.

3.Where is the company based?
 Agria is a global leader in the agricultural industry, with operations across 47 countries. The company utilizes a distributed corporate structure, with responsibilities situated close to operating territories. The Seed & Grain segment is managed from New Zealand, Australia and South America with additional corporate leadership from Hong Kong. The Crop Protection and Rural Services segments are also managed from New Zealand, Australia and South America. Senior corporate management oversees operations from offices in Hong Kong.

4.When was Agria’s IPO and in which market is the company’s shares traded?
 Agria was listed on November 7, 2007. The company’s shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “GRO”.

5.What is the number of ADS shares outstanding for Agria?
 As of June 30, 2016 (Fiscal year-end 2016), the outstanding number of ADS shares for Agria was 55,383,300 (representing 110,766,600 ordinary shares).

6.What is the Company’s dividend policy?
 Currently, we do not have a dividend policy. Agria is committed to capturing growth opportunities such that future earnings should be retained to fund operations and new growth initiatives.

7.When does the Company’s financial year end?
 The Company’s fiscal year ends on 30 June.
